WORLD CARE CANCER ASSOCIATION located at 97, Solapur Bazar, Camp,
Pune : 411001, is a Public Charitable Trust working specially for Ladies Breast Cancer Patients by providing Chemotherapy, Memography by the Association. The Association functions especially for the women living in slum area who cannot afford treatment’s expenditure related to the cancer diseases. Financial help for the patients in need of these therapies is provided by our association with contributions, through donations in Cash or by Cheques or in any kind (Foreign currency also accepted ).
All the donations will be accepted under 80-G of the Income Tax Act 1961 (India) & FCRA also. Donation in the form of Foodstuff and clothing is also accepted.
Before the age of 40 the body can resist all health problems quite efficiently. It is said that “ TILL THE AGE OF 40 THE BODY TAKE, CARE OF US, BUT AFTER 40 IT IS OUR DUTY TO TAKE CARE OF ONE’S BODY.” Women is one of the main source in multiplying the population. It is very important for the female population to be extra conscious. Breast feeding is the most important part for the new born upbringing. After the age of 40 it is must to get a Memograpy test done twice in a year for a woman. It is simple way of detecting breast cancer early to enhance healthy life. This early detection helps in a fast cure through endoscopy and remove the infection through Chemotherapy.
It has been noticed that most of the women are aware about Breast Cancer but are negligible or feel awkward to discuss it with the near one. The aim of the Association is to reach out for those women who are not able to discuss about there disease. That is why World Care Cancer Association conducted BREAST AWARENESS CAMP in Pune Cantonment area consisting of 8 wards. The following charts shows only in Cantonment Area more than 3500 women were examined by the Association :
